While some are born with innate sports ability, others have to develop the techniques required to outdo opponents during a play. This holds true for the game of tennis. It is a sport that requires both mental and physical alertness to play it with flamboyance.

In terms of physical aspect it requires agility, flexibility, endurance and speed for anyone who wishes to reach the top level in this game. These traits are must haves for every enthusiastic tennis lover to become a successful player. 

Speed is required to run for the ball quickly. Alertness and agility are the ingredients that help anticipate the opponent’ shot. Sometimes to reach the ball, you have to make unusual movements, that is when flexibly of tendons and muscles will come to usage. Those who have high level of endurance and stamina can do wonders in this game, as the game may continue for a couple of hours.

One of the most critical ingredients required to play this sport is the art of balancing. It is vital to hit the ball and place it with accurate shots.
